Let me ask of you: What the fuck is the point of Daylight Savings Time, when it saves no daylight at all! Why should we make it lighter in the morning, when we must all wake up and go to work, and darker in the evening, when we might have the opportunity to actually do something outdoors. This is a cruel twist of clock and calendar-- a historical throwback I'm sure, to some older farming days. But in its current state, I declare that Daylight Savings Time is evil and I am going to protest it in small ways (like taking a walk tonight at 6:30 through the pitch black neighborhood, pretending I can see something). Pathetic, I know. Still, what recourse do we have against the setters of the clocks?
Requiem aeternam, to the old, beloved time.

I like your idea of boycotting DST! I never got it, either. I thought we had long outgrown the synchronization of lifestyle and nature. Or maybe we're just not on the working man's schedule, who knows!? ;-)
yeah-- perhaps this is the last, and most ridiculous, head nod to nature. Fitting it is a backwards one (crazy society!)
